Today Grammy Marilyn & Papa Michael came to visit & brought us plants and seeds!!
(And even doughnuts!)

It was so hot that we didn't get all of it planted, but we did get a new bed prepped and tilled. All we need to do now is line it with bricks and fill it with more dirt!

After dinner Lily and I made some Mixed Berry Neapolitans!

My friend, Nicole, sent me this link to a tutorial on craftster.com on how to make little girls' sundresses from a man's button up shirt. Royce has 2 Aeropostale shirts from 8 years ago(!), that I have repeatedly tried to put in the Goodwill bag...but he repeatedly rescued them.

So...I decided to make these shirts into summer clothes for the girls to wear while Daddy is away!

(Sorry, Honey, but they were worth it!)

I got them done just in time for Royce's brother, Aaron's, 31st Birthday party.

Clear Creek Trail!

Today we went walking and biking. It was HOT! We got to see a Common Watersnake swimming and staying cool in Clear Creek. Lily got to see our first dragonfly of the season. And Nora got to see our first butterfly of the season!

Nora has informed me that she wants a frog for her birthday. And a "Frog Eating a Fly" birthday party! And Lily let me know that she wants a turtle for her birthday, in November!

Today, Jess watched Lily in the morning and took her to school.

Callie watched Thayne & Nora and took them to the park.

I got some much needed housework done!

Today, Aaron & Heidi brought us many, many bags of groceries!

Then they took the girls for the whole afternoon/evening!

Then they bathed them!

Then they took them out to dinner!

Then they brought them back home in time for bed!
